Sunday = Football AKA do not get between a man and his remote

I have fond memories of laying on the floor at my grandparents house watching football with my dad and Granddad...... Today I am reminded of this as my dad searches the stations on the hospital TV to find a game. Yes, you read that correctly HE IS SEARCHING HIMSELF... do not get between a man and his remote! 

Before leaving the hospital last night, dad asked for his iPod so he could listen to the books he has downloaded. This has become his preferred method of "reading", something he could enjoy both at home and on the road. Today we arrived and to our surprise his TV was on, during the night the nurses had turned it on for white noise. Unfortunately we cannot find the food network (he asked for that first by pointing to me when I suggested it)... But once he heard the siren song of a football game, well the rest is history...... 

Sunday morning, coffee (well for me), and a football game.... Heaven
